The S8040B manufactured by Richmond Wheel and Castor Co. is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with a rubber wheel. This swivel castor is in our 300 series plate range and has a maximum capacity of 250kg. The S8040B uses roller bearings for wheel rotation and is baseplate mount. The swivel frame design of this castor allows the castor to swivel 360°. The diameter of the rubber wheel is 200mm, the wheel width is 50mm and can be ordered separately (RT8842). To order this castor without a brake, search for S8040.

Description

Meeting and exceeding all performance standards due to a higher load bearing capacity, the 300 Series has a wide range of uses. A nylon wheel in a 300 series is most common for industrial and trolley applications, a rebound rubber wheel is ideal for road cases and transportable crates whilst a poly nylon wheel is best suited to undercover and showroom displays. Cast Iron, Poly Cast Iron and Aluminium wheels are also available with this series.
