Application of Warranty

Products returned to Richmond Rolling Solutions for warranty repair which, upon inspection, are confirmed to be defective and covered by this warranty will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you and returned pre-paid. Defective parts will be repaired or replaced with new or refurbished parts at Richmond Rolling Solutions’ discretion. If the Australian Consumer Law applies and the failure in the product is a ‘major failure’ you may request a replacement or refund.

This warranty is in addition to your other rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (if applicable).

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

Subject to your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law (if applicable) or any other law, Richmond Rolling Solutions expressly excludes any liability for consequential loss, incidental or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, damages for labour, loss of business and business interruption) due to a defective product. Any loss or damage caused to other equipment or accessories used with the product or any loss resulting from a delay in replacement is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
