The S8042B manufactured by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and uses a rebound rubber wheel. This swivel castor is part of our 300 series plate range and can safely take loads up to 250kg. The S8042B uses ball bearings for wheel rotation and is mounted with the baseplate. The swivel frame design of this castor allows for full 360° swivel rotation. The overall rebound rubber wheel diameter is 200mm, the wheel width is 45mm and can be ordered separately (RR8871). For the same castor without a brake, see S8042.
Meeting and exceeding all performance standards due to a higher load bearing capacity, the 300 Series has a wide range of uses. A nylon wheel in a 300 series is most common for industrial and trolley applications, a rebound rubber wheel is ideal for road cases and transportable crates whilst a poly nylon wheel is best suited to undercover and showroom displays. Cast Iron, Poly Cast Iron and Aluminium wheels are also available with this series.
