The S5048B by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and features a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is part of our 300 series plate range and can hold loads up to 200kg. The S5048B is assembled with ball bearings on the castors axle and is mounted with the baseplate. The swivel frame permits the load to be steered. The overall polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel diameter is 125mm, the wheel width is 35mm and you can order separately (Part Number: PU549). For the same castor without a brake, see S5048.

Description
Meeting and exceeding all performance standards due to a higher load bearing capacity, the 300 Series has a wide range of uses. A nylon wheel in a 300 series is most common for industrial and trolley applications, a rebound rubber wheel is ideal for road cases and transportable crates whilst a poly nylon wheel is best suited to undercover and showroom displays. Cast Iron, Poly Cast Iron and Aluminium wheels are also available with this series.
