Richmond’s 30 Tonne Load Skate Kit (LSR005) is a heavy-duty transport system built for moving large equipment safely and efficiently across flat, hard surfaces. This kit includes two steerable front skates and two fixed rear skates, connected by adjustable steel rods to suit various load widths. Each unit features a powder-coated steel frame, non-slip rubber decks, and high-strength nylon wheels for smooth, controlled movement.
Ideal for machinery relocation, infrastructure works and industrial equipment installations, this skate system provides directional control, stability and even weight distribution under load. Designed for use on level ground, the LSR005 allows operators to manoeuvre heavy assets without the need for cranes or forklifts.
The kit includes four load skates: two front steerable units with a towing handle and eye, and two fixed rear skates. Adjustable linking bars are also provided to allow correct spacing based on the size of the load.
The LSR005 is rated for a maximum combined load of 30 tonnes when used on flat, hard surfaces.
No. This product is designed specifically for use on smooth, level floors such as concrete or sealed industrial surfaces. Uneven or soft terrain is not suitable.
