Custom Platform Trolley for Cummins South Pacific

Our team worked with Cummins South Pacific to locally design, manufacture and supply a custom platform trolley.

The project scope was to custom build a platform trolley that could safely transport industrial machinery like transmissions, battery systems, fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions, and power generation systems around their warehouse safely and with reduced noise.

Each trolley is made from tough steel with a hammertone finish and is fitted with 4x 200mm blue rebound rubber wheels with a load capacity of up to 450kg. The castors used are from Richmond’s Heavy Industrial series range, featuring a welded frame with a reinforced kingpin. The rebound rubber wheels were specifically selected and are the best fit for Cummins South Pacific’s requirements due to their superior rolling resistance and noise reduction benefits, ensuring the trolleys are easy to push across many different flooring surfaces.

This heavy-duty platform trolley comes with a non-slip surface and is fitted with a ratchet strap to safely secure stock and machinery from moving when on the platform during use. It also has a premium yellow hammertone finish for durability and safety.

This custom trolley was locally designed by our in-house engineering team and manufactured here at our Melbourne facility.
