Polyurethane Wheels and Rollers
Polyurethane tyred wheels and rollers are our most common use of polyurethane, with a huge range of standard and custom made products to choose from.
Because Richmond Rolling Solutions has been making polyurethane wheels for over 40 years, we’ve built up a large selection of tools, dies and moulds so the chances are very high we already have the right type and size of wheel or roller you need. If for any reason we don’t have the right wheel and roller for your business, then let us know and we can design a custom solution for you.
In Australia and New Zealand, we stock a huge range of standard off the shelf polyurethane tyred wheels and rollers, as well as an even bigger selection of standard made-to-order options.
If you’re seeking a wheel or roller for a common application, then chances are we have a suitable option for you in stock in your state, or at our Victorian warehouse.

Non-typical Wheel or Roller Solutions
If your project requires a wheel or roller solution for a non-typical application, we can help. With decades of experience designing and manufacturing polyurethane wheels and rollers, our in-house engineers and technical specialists can develop a solution to suit your application.
We manufacture everything from small wheels and rollers for food processing and printing equipment through to large trunnion, trommel, crane, wharf, bogie and conveyor pulley wheels and rollers, as well as everything in between.
Below is a small selection of the non-standard wheel and roller solutions Richmond has designed and manufactured over the years.
Cost-Effective Solutions
Richmond Rolling Solutions works with customers to develop practical, cost-effective alternatives to OEM components where replacement costs or lead times are a concern.
One large-scale customer approached us with a major problem: the solid rubber press tyres on its forging manipulator were wearing out too quickly, resulting in high replacement costs and long lead times for imported replacements from Europe.
Using the customer’s existing press-on rims, we moulded and fitted new polyurethane tyres to provide a cost-effective replacement solution. This approach saved the customer thousands of dollars while delivering improved performance and a longer service life than the original OEM tyres.

FAQ
Can Richmond help design a custom polyurethane part?
Yes. Our in-house engineering team can assist with product design, mould tooling, material selection, and performance requirements for any industrial application.
What industries use Richmond’s polyurethane products?
Our polyurethane solutions are used in manufacturing, mining, transport, food processing, agriculture, and OEM equipment – anywhere parts need to handle wear, load, impact, or movement.
Can you manufacture small batch polyurethane parts?
Yes. We offer both low and high-volume production and can create short-run castings with custom tooling if needed.
