The S1090D by Richmond Rolling Solutions is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with 2 polyurethane tyred cast iron wheels. This swivel castor is part of our high performance series range and has a top load capacity of 1300kg. The S1090D wheel is fitted with ball bearings. The swivel frame of this castor allows full swivel rotation to enable steering. The outside diameter of the polyurethane tyred cast iron wheels is 250mm, the wheels width is 2 x 75mm and can be ordered separately (PU1076). This castor includes a directional lock – This feature locks the swivel direction of the castor but still allows the wheel to turn. When the directional lock is released, full swivel function is returned to the castor. Castors with a directional lock are indicated by a ‘D’ at the end of the castor code.

Description
When performance and endurance are key concerns, the High Performance castor is world class. A large opposed taper roller bearing in the swivel head means the castor can be power towed at speeds up to 12kph over flat surfaces without obstructions. The steel passivated zinc plated frame is robot welded and a fully sealed greasable swivel head make this castor easy to maintain. Richmond’s High Performance Series is custom designed and manufactured in-house to specification.
