The S690 from Richmond is a swivel frame castor and uses a cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is one of our high performance series range and can hold loads up to 1500kg. The S690 is assembled with ball bearings on the castors axle. The swivel frame of this castor allows for full 360° swivel rotation. The diameter of the cast iron wheel is 150mm, the wheel width is 75mm and you can order separately (Part Number: Ci689).
When performance and endurance are key concerns, the High Performance castor is world class. A large opposed taper roller bearing in the swivel head means the castor can be power towed at speeds up to 12kph over flat surfaces without obstructions. The steel passivated zinc plated frame is robot welded and a fully sealed greasable swivel head make this castor easy to maintain. Richmond’s High Performance Series is custom designed and manufactured in-house to specification.
