Utility Series Castors
Richmond’s Utility Series castors are designed for light-duty applications where compact size, reliable mobility and versatile mounting are required. Featuring a zinc-plated pressed steel frame, the range provides reliable mobility for light trolleys, display equipment, wire baskets and other mobile fixtures.
Plate mount Utility castors are available in wheel diameters of 50mm, 75mm and 100mm, with nylon and non-marking grey rubber wheel options available across the range. The rectangular top plate provides a secure mounting point for compatible equipment including light trolleys, display equipment, wire baskets and mobile fixtures.
Bolt-hole mount options and twin wheel Utility castors are also available for applications requiring alternative mounting configurations.
Swivel Brake Frame Castors
This castor features a full swivel frame design, allowing smooth directional movement and excellent manoeuvrability in confined or changing operating environments.
The swivel head enables the equipment to rotate freely for easy positioning and handling, while the integrated brake mechanism locks both the wheel and swivel race to prevent rolling and rotation when engaged, helping keep equipment securely in place.
Nylon Wheels
Solid nylon wheels are hard wearing, durable and easy to maintain, providing very low rolling resistance for efficient movement on hard, smooth surfaces. They also offer good resistance to moisture and regular industrial use.
These wheels are ideal for trolleys, carts and mobile equipment used in warehouses, factories, workshops, food processing areas and wet environments where durability and minimal maintenance are important.
Plate Mount
This castor features a 3 mm thick baseplate and 3 mm thick pressed steel forks, designed to suit 6 mm mounting bolts. The castor frame can be bolted or welded directly to equipment depending on the application requirements. Baseplate mounts to suit are also available.
