The S470D by Richmond Wheel and Castor Co. is a swivel frame castor and has a cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is part of our heavy duty welded series range and has a top load capacity of 400kg. The S470D is assembled with ball bearings on the castors axle. The swivel frame design of this castor allows the castor to swivel 360°. The overall cast iron wheel diameter is 100mm, the wheel width is 38mm and can be ordered separately (Ci400). For the same castor without a direction lock, see S470.

This castor includes a directional lock – This feature locks the swivel direction of the castor but still allows the wheel to turn. When the directional lock is released, full swivel function is returned to the castor. Castors with a directional lock are indicated by a ‘D’ at the end of the castor code.
